Job Description: The Business Analyst will support, train, and bring innovative solutions to the different groups and functions for the ERP system at the Plattsburgh, NY manufacturing facility with the intent of improving business processes and profitability. In this role you will work in both an office as well as shop floor setting collaboratively supporting your customers. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Adhere to all safety rules and regulations established by the company. Provide support to business applications users with the ERP system (SAP). Manage security in link with ERP system. Manage the priority of the ERP improvement initiatives with the site's Management Team. Plan and conduct training sessions for business applications users of SAP. Analyze intermediate level problems in order to propose solutions and configure ERP system in order to achieve expected result. Conduct problem analysis and pre-analysis for small requests made of the site. Support the deployment of projects with the Delivery Team. Assist technical groups in minor equipment troubleshooting. Assist business liaisons and site's Management Team to evaluate cost-benefit and ROI analyses. Communicate progress and challenges with applicable stakeholders both internally and externally. Maintain required business applications documents/files. Comply with Company Policies and Procedures. Qualifications: Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Information Technology or relevant experience. 5+ years of experience with SAP, including basic knowledge of SAP modules: PP, SD, FI/CO, and MM. Knowledge and experience in a manufacturing setting preferred. Experience with French language would be an asset. Strong analytical, presentation, and systems development skills. Effective communication skills both speaking and writing with peers, management, employees, and vendors. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Applications - Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook/Internet Explorer, etc. Effective problem solving and planning/organization skills. Demonstrated effective conflict resolution skills. Self-motivated; takes initiative, and works with urgency. Team player; works cooperatively with others to solve problems and willingly helps others when assistance is needed. Additional Information: US Citizen and Green Card Holders only!
