Expeditionary Assistant, Expeditionary Studies ## Position Summary The Expeditionary Studies department, offering a Bachelor of Science, invites applications from qualified instructors/guides to assist faculty with credit-bearing courses in rock and ice climbing, free-heel skiing, and sea kayaking, on a part-time basis. The vita bank exists to provide a pool of candidates who might be available to fill anticipated positions as needed. ## Examples of Duties & Responsibilities: Assist with credit courses in rock climbing, ice climbing, free-heel skiing, and sea kayaking. Possible weekend and/or overnight work. ## Required Qualifications: Guiding experience within ones specialty(climbing, skiing, sea kayaking); familiarity with the Adirondack/Lake Champlain region; strong interpersonal skills. ## Preferred Qualifications: Appropriate certifications and advanced specialty training desirable. ## Special Instructions to Applicants Review of applications begins immediately and _continues on a periodic basis_.
