Lemon 2 go (L2G) is based in Grace bay, Providenciales, Turks and Caicos. We serve great coffee to locals and tourists and provide food products across the island. We are a small venture operating within a larger family of businesses (Environmental Arts) that provide various services across the island.
Job role
Barista / Catering Manager
Day to Day: Ensuring coffee bar is presentable, making and serving drinks and snacks including espresso based speciality drinks, taking payments, interacting with customers, purchasing and managing stock levels in line with requirements, managing and developing other staff (including catering chef), liaising with catering customers and managing supply and invoicing of products to them.
Staff in this grade operate as management positions They are expected to tackle day to day issues autonomously and understand when to escalate issues. The quality of their work has a direct effect on level of business the company receives. Staff in this grade are expected to be flexible in their day to day responsibilities. Will typically report to the company director.
Skills/Experience needed
This role requires excellent barista skills, applicants must have the ability to work autonomously and provide necessary information to management. A great personable manner with customers is essential and all applicants must speak English fluently. The role requires an organised and professional Barista / Catering Manager who is able to manage both their time and their staff?s time effectively. A ability to take payments and carry out basic invoicing duties is also necessary.
Must have valid drivers licence
Must have no criminal record
Must be physically fit and healthy
Minimum 2 years barista experience
Minimum 4 years customer facing experience
Some POS experience
