POSITION SUMMARY The Office Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the office and administrative functions for Materials NY operations. In addition, the Office Supervisor will provide support of the regional plant operations and corporate functional groups to include, but not limited to: accounts payable, human resources, risk management, payroll, workman compensation regional accounts receivable and customer service . DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : The Office Supervisor will lead the office team to excellence. Responsible for regional accounts payable, human resources, payroll, risk management as well as other back office functions. Plan and implement various office process improvements. Perform month end activities as required. Interact with employees, customers, and vendors. Ensure adherence to general accounting policies and procedures Assist with plant administration and provide backup as needed Work closely with the Sales Administrator in customer service and accounts receivable. Provide assistance and support to Plant Management as needed. Various other administrative tasks and special projects as assigned by management. Assist General Manager with tasks as needed. Liaise with Operations Controller regarding administration issues QUALIFICATIONS : 3-5 years of progressive experience in office administration 2 years minimum experience in a supervisory role Bachelor Degree in Business preferred or proven equivalent experience. Able to work in a fast paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environment Positive disposition Detail oriented, accurate, professional, reliable, and dependable Ability to work independently as well as in a team framework
