I am working with a hospital in Upstate New York in need of Psychiatric Locums coverage.
This starts at the beginning of the year and is on-going through, at least, August.

Dates: 1/25-8/31
Adult psychiatry
Physicians must be either board certified or board eligible.
Inpatient experience required within the last 5 years.
Up to date knowledge on medications.
Hours M-F - 8:00- 4:30pm
Ages - 18 and up 10-14 days
Call -1:4 weekends and weeknights (rounds on Adult AND child/adolescent units)
Call on weekdays: 1 or 2 or 3 nights 100 % inpatient work
90% psychopharmacology, 10% psychotherapy
0-5 average admissions per day H&P''s performed on all admissions within 24 hours.
Duties include: Covering up to 12 inpatients plus consults on the floors and ER (adults and/or children).
Consults range between 0-5 on any given day.
Other duties: Will need to physically come in for seclusions/restraints (be here within 30 minutes).
Pay $150-160 per hour
Malpractice with tail provided
Travel and lodging provided
