PA Physician Assistant needed. Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to function as our cardiac NP or PA. There are approximately 160 physicians on our medical staff, many of whom have chosen to adopt our private practice management model. Over 92% are board certified (which is a requirement within three years of joining us). Our physicians are fully supported in the delivery of quality care, with exceptional team resources and a sophisticated, efficient practice management model. Job Description: Provide quality, compassionate and empathetic medical care to all patients as delegated by a supervising physician within the education, training and experience of the PA as delineated by protocols, practice guideline and/or practice directives while meeting the productivity demands of the practice. Services may be provided in the office setting, or our Medical Center. Monday Friday 8am to 5pm. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Current license as a Registered Physician Assistant in New York State. Current or eligible for NYS DEA license. Ability to obtain appropriate privileges at our Medical Center. Ability to obtain credentialing by third party payers to enable third party billing. Current CPR certification. Medical office experience helpful. Knowledge of medical practice management and or electronic medical records software a plus. This is a high level position so potential candidate must meet all specified requirements to be eligible for consideration.
