Lead Engineer, Technical Operations - (St. Albans) in Plattsburgh, New York For Sale
Leading continuous process and product improvement efforts of commercial pharmaceutical products. Intensively supporting transfer of technology from Process Development to the Commercial Operations group. ? Directing the maintenance of current commercialized pharmaceutical products, systems and documentation. ? Coordinating independent cradle to grave identification and resolution of process related opportunities. ? Designing functional requirements, risk assessments, protocols for products and equipment. Reviewing and approving high level documents such as validation protocols, master plans, technical transfer reports, etc. ? Documenting all work appropriately in a cGMP environment. Preparing presentations for high level project updates. ? Interacting with vendor and outside contractors/ consultants as needed. Identifying long term needs for product/process projects to result in creation of annual budget. ? Planning and running manufacturing events in support of projects to include analysis and write-up of final data. ? Providing technical support to regulatory and management staff for changes and improvements to commercial transdermal products; Providing backup/weekend support as necessary.QUALIFICATIONS -An advanced degree in Chemical Engineering or Polymer Material Science (or equivalent) and 4+ years of transdermal pharmaceutical work experience is preferred (a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration).
