Based in Plattsburg, New York, you will be responsible to support the Welding Engineer regarding in house welding activities.
In your role you will:
: Support the Resistance Spot Welding (RSW) equipment programming, functionality and troubleshooting;
: Assist the Welding Engineer in welder training and RSW machine qualification
: Provide Production and equipment support for the robotic RSW;
: Assist the Maintenance group in developing necessary Preventive Maintenance schedules;
: Train Robotic machine operators.
Qualifications
As our ideal candidate:
: You hold a Technical degree in engineering, preferably;
: You cumulate a minimum of two (2) to five (5) years of relative experience in manufacturing or in a similar position;
: You have experience in robotic programming and troubleshooting;
: You are familiar with FANUC robotic equipment;
: You have a background in the aerospace/transportation/rail industry will be considered an asset;
: You are familiar with Allen Bradley PLC Control (RS Logics) and Allen Bradley HMI (Factory Talk);
: You have a good command of Office automation;
: Your knowledge of processes and techniques of welding, such as GMAW, FCAW, GTAW and RSW, will be considered an advantage;
: Your analytical thinking and teamwork abilities are strong;
: You are concerned for quality and accuracy;
: Your English communication skills are excellent;
: Your French communication skills will be considered an asset.
