WPTZ/WNNE-TV, the Hearst Television Inc., NBC affiliate in the Burlington/Plattsburgh market, is accepting resumes for a Next Generation Journalist. This Reporter/Photographer enterprises, writes, shoots, edits and delivers news to all platforms (web, broadcast and digital channels). Although expected to cover stories from our entire region, this position will be based out of our White River Junction, VT newsroom.
**Job Responsibilities:**
* Enterprise stories from the field.
* Shoot and edit own video and deliver to newsroom via FTP or microwave.
* Write story for newscast and other platforms.
### Required Skills
**Qualifications Requirements:**
* Must have strong writing and communication skills.
* Should have valid drivers license with a good driving record.
* Ability to lift/carry 50 pounds.
**Education:**
* Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Broadcast Journalism or Communications.
### Required Experience
* Minimum of one year professional news reporter experience.** **
* Must have understanding of news production techniques and the ability to develop an engaging presentation.** **
