Flowers by Environmental Arts (FEA) is based in Providenciales and provides services to the islands of the Turks and Caicos. We are an innovative, creative, high end floral design company which creates high quality fresh floral arrangements for weddings, corporate events, parties, special events, as well as seasonal celebrations.
Job role
Events Co-ordinator / Floral Designer
Day to day: Meeting clients, capturing requirements, designing floral arrangements, generating estimates, ordering floral supplies from overseas, planning events (people, timings, etc), creating and directing team to create complex floral arrangements, managing client expectations, coping with change, invoicing and chasing payments for work completed.
Staff in this role are the core, delivery-focused operating management positions within the company. They are responsible for the management of the wider team in delivering services to clients. They have a clear impact on the financial and operational performance of the business, and should develop and maintain relationships with clients and suppliers. Managing client interactions and delivering to their expectations within budget and on time is the fundamental purpose of this role.
Skills needed
This role requires an outstanding level of horticultural knowledge and an exceptional ability to design and create floral works of art. The role requires an organised and professional florist who is able to plan and manage their time effectively. Effective communication both internally and externally is expected. A basic ability to report on finances and carry out invoicing duties is also necessary.
Essential experience
Minimum 3 years floral design experience
Minimum 2 years experience managing/co-ordinating floral teams
Minimum 1 years experience ordering and invoicing experience
